With tons of on-Ranch activities included in the cost of your reservation already, if you’re looking to really immerse yourself in our western Ranch culture, you can expand your luxury Ranch experience with a number of additional activities. Although the following activities are not included in the cost of your reservation, adding them in could potentially take your vacation in the mountains to new heights.

Horseback Riding

Saddle up and enjoy a closer look at the beautiful mountain meadows and serene alpine lakes that decorate the Sawtooth Valley. We’re excited to offer horseback riding as an additional option to enhance your visit. Our on-ranch wrangler, Shelby Williams, owner of Wild West Horse Adventures, and her team offers multiple rides on and around the ranch. Frequently Asked Questions:

• Reservations are required, we prefer a 24-hour notice.
• We can accommodate up to 10 riders at one time. We will need an extra wrangler after 6 people therefore we need a heads up for these large party rides.
• We hire wranglers with a minimum of 3 years of guiding experience that are CPR and first-aid certified.
• Guests must arrive 15 minutes before the ride departs.
• Children MUST be six years of age or older to ride. We do not allow any double riding. Helmets are provided for all riders, children ages 6 through 14 are required to wear helmets.
• Our weight limits are as follows: Under 5’5″ 160 lb, 5’6″-5’8″ 200lb, 5’9″-5’11” 230lb, 6’+ 250lb. We require guests’ heights/weights and riding experience when booking.
• Cancellation policy: Guests are eligible for a full refund 72 hours before their ride. If it is within the 72 hours of their scheduled ride, they will not receive a refund, but can receive a gift certificate for future use. Gift certificates are non-refundable and expire a year from the scheduled ride.
• Waters and trail mix are provided on all rides. Other personal belongings such as jackets, cameras, sunglasses, etc. can be stored in each individuals saddle bags as room allows. We do not allow back packs. Note: if any member of your party has a peanut allergy, please let us know in advance.
• Guests must wear proper riding attire, closed toed shoes and long pants. We also recommend bringing a jacket, hat and sunglasses. If rain is forecasted, rain jackets are highly recommended as well.
• Gratuity for your guide is greatly appreciated

Massage

If you are looking to make your vacation more of a holistic wellness retreat, we’d highly recommend adding a full-body massage to your “to do” list. Our certified therapist is passionate about her practice and will work with you to make sure your massage treatment is tailored to your needs. Each treatment is designed for total relaxation. Hot stone massage, relaxing facials, and feet treats are also available. We believe in using only the most advanced techniques to provide a spa experience that will nourish your body, mind and spirit.

Guided Fly Fishing

The Sawtooth Valley is home to some of the best fly fishing in the world. If you’ve graduated from fishing on our fully stocked fishing pond, and want to try your hand at fly fishing on the river – or you’ve grown up fly fishing, and you want a change to the best scenery imaginable – contact Jack Banse – our resident fishing guide with Silver Creek Outfitters – at 508-612-8623 to schedule your guided fly fishing trip. From novice to expert, Jack will tailor your experience to you.

3/4 Day Fishing: Usually 4-6 hours. $525 per day for 1 – 2 anglers.

Full-Day Fishing: Covers all of Silver Creek’s licensed areas. $695 per day for 1 – 2 anglers.

Drift Boat Fishing: Over 60-plus miles of water along the Salmon River. Full Day Trips (8+ hours), $850 for 1 – 2 anglers.

Note: Experienced children ages 10 and up are welcome with a parent. Please let Jack know that you are a guest at the Ranch.

White Water Rafting on the Salmon River

For the thrillseekers included in your family getaway in the mountains, consider an exhilarating trip whitewater rafting down the Salmon River with White Otter Adventures. Ages 4 and up are welcome. Private Half Day Trips – Custom launch times for four or more people starting at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm and 3 pm. Pricing: $120/adult and $105/child (ages 4 – 12)
